No, Skype does not have a feature to download the conversation in a
certain file format or archive it.

After a lot of research i found that there is no way to download the conversation in a certain file format or archive it.
For online chat, there is a download option in the settings. Click on settings and there you can download the conversation in a specific file format. I used this option many times to backup my conversation.
Skype supports adding Notes with a maximum size of 5MB. (This was in 2014, I don't know if this option has changed since). You can also download the notes to a file. There is no option to archive the notes. You can just save the link to your notes. If you want to copy them into your hard drive you can just open the link with a normal web browser.
